IPv6 addresses use hexadecimal characters separated by colons; “::” can shorten a sequence of zero groups. Enter the address above and select “Get IP Details” to view the available results.

IPv6 geolocation uses databases, not live GPS. The city shown may reflect your ISP’s network rather than your device’s location. Some public addresses have limited location data or no available hostname. Addresses such as ::1 (loopback) and those starting with fe80: (link-local) are not public internet addresses and cannot be located like a public IPv6 address.

An IPv6 lookup can show an estimated location and network provider, but it is not a live tracking tool. It cannot reveal someone’s exact home address, movements, identity, or browsing history. Use the result to investigate a connection’s network context—not to identify or follow a person.
